Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic English-speaking Intern to join our dynamic Event Management team in Villach. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in planning, executing, and evaluating a wide range of events within a luxury hotel setting. You will work closely with our experienced event managers, learning the intricacies of event coordination from conceptualization to post-event analysis. This role is perfect for someone passionate about hospitality and events, eager to develop practical skills in a fast-paced international environment.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Assist in the planning and coordination of various events, including conferences, banquets, and social gatherings.
- Support the Event Sales and Operations team with client communication, proposal preparation, and contract management.
- Help manage event logistics, including room setup, audiovisual requirements, catering arrangements, and staffing schedules.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping) to ensure seamless event execution.
- Participate in site inspections and client meetings, documenting requirements and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Prepare event summaries, feedback reports, and assist with post-event follow-up tasks.
- Maintain organized event files and databases.
- Provide administrative support to the Event Management team as needed.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) due to international clientele and team communication.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Tourism, or a related field.

- Prior volunteer or work experience in hospitality, customer service, or event support.
- Proficiency in German or other European languages.
- Basic knowledge of event management software or CRM systems.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
