Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a talented and motivated Hybrid ASIC Verification Engineer to join our dynamic Microelectronics team in Vienna. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the functional correctness and high quality of complex System-on-Chip (SoC) and Intellectual Property (IP) designs. You will work within an agile environment, collaborating closely with design, architecture, and validation teams to define verification strategies, develop test benches, and execute comprehensive verification plans using state-of-the-art methodologies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation semiconductor products.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and implement verification test plans based on design specifications.
• Create and maintain UVM-based verification environments for complex digital and mixed-signal ASIC designs.
• Develop test cases, sequences, and stimulus to thoroughly verify design functionality.
• Perform functional and formal verification using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Debug design and verification issues, working closely with design engineers.
• Analyze coverage metrics (code, functional, assertion) and drive towards coverage closure.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of verification methodologies and flows.
• Collaborate with global teams across different time zones.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM methodology.
• Strong understanding of digital design principles and ASIC development flow.
• Experience with simulation tools (e.g., Questa, VCS, Xcelium).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Tcl).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, hybrid environment.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with formal verification techniques (e.g., assertion-based verification).
• Knowledge of mixed-signal verification concepts.
• Familiarity with low-power verification techniques.
• Experience with FPGA prototyping for pre-silicon validation.
• Understanding of semiconductor device physics.
