We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Hybrid Hydropower Project Lead to spearhead critical dam engineering projects within our extensive portfolio. This pivotal role involves leading multi-disciplinary teams through all project phases, from feasibility studies and design to construction oversight and commissioning. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in dam safety, structural engineering, and hydraulic design, coupled with exceptional project management capabilities and a strong commitment to sustainable energy solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring the structural integrity, operational efficiency, and environmental compliance of our hydropower assets, driving innovation, and fostering collaboration across internal departments and external stakeholders.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead and manage complex dam engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Oversee the design, analysis, and construction of new dam structures and the rehabilitation/upgrade of existing hydropower facilities.
• Conduct detailed technical reviews of engineering designs, calculations, and specifications related to dam safety and stability.
• Ensure compliance with national and international dam safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
• Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external consultants, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation to senior management and relevant committees.
• Drive innovation in dam engineering practices, incorporating new technologies and sustainable approaches.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement processes.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum 5 years of experience in dam engineering or large-scale civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on hydropower.
• Proven track record in leading and managing complex engineering projects.
• Strong expertise in dam safety assessment, hydraulic design, and structural analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant national and international engineering standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, balancing on-site project presence with remote collaboration.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Experience with digital twin technology or advanced simulation tools for dam operations.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Background in renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure development.
• Experience with geotechnical engineering and seismic analysis related to dams.
