Join AlpenKräuter GmbH as a Lavender Farm Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in the cultivation and harvesting of our beautiful lavender fields and other aromatic herbs. This hands-on, on-site position in Garching is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a keen eye for detail, and are dedicated to sustainable agricultural practices. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the health and productivity of our crops from planting to processing.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Assist with planting, weeding, pruning, and general maintenance of lavender fields and other herb gardens.
- Perform manual harvesting of lavender flowers and other herbs according to established quality standards and schedules.
- Operate and maintain basic farm equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Participate in post-harvest processing, including drying, sorting, and packaging of herbs.
- Monitor plant health, identify pests or diseases, and report findings to the farm manager.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized farm environment.
- Adhere to organic farming principles and safety regulations at all times.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
