Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Speaking Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team in Schärding. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility between in-office collaboration and remote work. The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support the bank’s objectives. You will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, working closely with various departments.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with IFRS/Austrian GAAP.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring performance against budget.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to optimize financial performance.
• Oversee cash flow management and liquidity planning.
• Present complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-finance stakeholders.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in German (B2 level or higher)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and Austrian GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
• Proficiency with financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
