Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team for quiet night shifts. In this essential role, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s operations during the overnight hours, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, preparing reports, and providing excellent customer service to our guests. This position requires strong organizational skills, a calm demeanor, and the ability to work independently to maintain the smooth functioning of the hotel during the night.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Perform all end-of-day operations, including auditing and reconciling all hotel accounts.
• Process credit card transactions and ensure accurate posting of all charges.
• Prepare daily reports, including room revenue, occupancy rates, and no-shows.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct routine property walks to ensure guest safety and hotel security.
• Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
• Set up complimentary continental breakfast and coffee service (if applicable).
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
• Respond to emergency situations according to established hotel procedures.
• Assist with any ad-hoc requests from guests or management.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Previous experience in a hotel front desk or auditing role (at least 1 year).
• Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) such as OnQ, Opera, or similar.
• Strong mathematical and accounting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during quiet periods.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
