We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated English Speaking QA Automation Engineer to join our innovative team in Wiesbaden. This is a hybrid role, requiring a balance of on-site collaboration and remote work. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results, identifying and reporting defects with clear and concise documentation.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and automation strategy.
• Perform manual testing when necessary, especially for exploratory and usability testing.
• Provide clear and concise communication regarding test status, defect resolution, and overall product quality.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and share knowledge within the team.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience in QA automation engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Pytest).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with performance and security testing.
• ISTQB certification.
• Proficiency in German is a plus, but not required.
