We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lavender Farm Assistant to join our team for the upcoming harvesting season and beyond. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and are passionate about organic farming and natural products. As a Farm Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the cultivation, care, and harvesting of our lavender and other medicinal herbs, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Participate actively in the harvesting of lavender and various other herbs, primarily by hand.
• Assist with planting, weeding, irrigation, and general maintenance of herb fields.
• Monitor crop health and identify any issues, reporting them to the farm manager.
• Perform light equipment operation and maintenance as needed.
• Help with the post-harvest processing, including drying, cleaning, and sorting of herbs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in fields and processing areas.
• Adhere to all organic farming regulations and safety protocols.
• Contribute to other general farm duties as required.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new farming techniques.
• Basic communication skills in German or English.

• Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, or gardening.

• Driver's license (Class B) and own transportation.
