Stellenbeschreibung

Richemont is seeking a visionary Director of Design to lead our creative teams and shape the future aesthetic across our diverse portfolio of luxury brands. This pivotal role involves spearheading design strategy, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of creative execution. The successful candidate will be a beacon of design excellence, capable of inspiring multidisciplinary teams to push boundaries while upholding the heritage and distinct identity of each Maison. You will be instrumental in defining product vision, guiding design development from concept to market, and maintaining Richemont’s position at the forefront of luxury design globally.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Define and articulate the overarching design vision and strategy for Richemont's portfolio, aligning with brand identities and business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of designers across various product categories (e.g., jewelry, watches, leather goods).
• Oversee the entire design lifecycle, from trend research and conceptualization to prototyping and final production approval.
• Collaborate closely with product development, marketing, and executive leadership to ensure seamless integration of design into business strategies.
• Champion innovation and foster a culture of creative experimentation while maintaining brand heritage and quality standards.
• Manage design budgets and resources effectively, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
• Present design concepts and strategies to executive stakeholders and brand leadership.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven track record of 10+ years in a senior design leadership role within the luxury goods or high-end consumer products industry.
• Exceptional portfolio demonstrating strategic design thinking, creative vision, and execution across multiple design disciplines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience inspiring and developing large creative teams.
• Deep understanding of luxury market trends, consumer behavior, and brand storytelling.
• Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD/3D modeling).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English; French is a strong asset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international, and highly collaborative environment.
