Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Manager to join our Corporate Compliance team in Essen. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring adherence to national and international laws, regulations, and Siemens‘ internal policies. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage compliance risks, develop and implement robust compliance programs, and promote a culture of integrity throughout the organization. You will work closely with various business units and corporate functions, providing expert advice and guidance on complex compliance matters.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop, implement, and maintain effective compliance programs and policies in line with regulatory requirements and corporate standards.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to business units on various compliance topics, including anti-corruption, data privacy, sanctions, and antitrust laws.
• Oversee and conduct internal investigations into potential compliance breaches, ensuring thoroughness and fairness.
• Design and deliver comprehensive compliance training sessions to employees at all levels.
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.
• Prepare and present regular reports on compliance activities, findings, and risks to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal audit, legal, and other corporate functions to ensure a cohesive approach to governance, risk, and compliance.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a compliance, legal, or audit role within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of national and international compliance regulations (e.g., German Criminal Code, FCPA, UK Bribery Act).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (C1/C2 level) for international collaboration and documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CFE).
• Experience in the industrial or technology sector.
• Proficiency in German language (B2 level or higher) is a plus.
• Experience with compliance management systems and tools.
