We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our dynamic team in Knittelfeld. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial accuracy and operational efficiency of an international firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial decisions. You will work within a collaborative environment, engaging with various departments and global teams to maintain the highest level of financial integrity.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Manage general ledger accounts, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP (UGB).
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits and tax filings.
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions across international entities.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Prepare various financial reports and analyses for management review.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during year-end procedures.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate accounting, preferably within an international setting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Austrian GAAP (UGB).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, DATEV) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).

• Master's degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter, CPA, ACCA).
• Experience with complex consolidation processes.
• Prior experience in a 'Big Four' accounting firm.
• Knowledge of other European accounting standards.
