Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Speaking Pipeline Integrity Engineer to join our dynamic team in Neu-Isenburg, Germany. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and from our state-of-the-art office facilities. As a Pipeline Integrity Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safety, reliability, and operational integrity of our critical pipeline assets. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing integrity management programs, conducting risk assessments, analyzing inspection data, and recommending corrective actions to maintain asset performance and compliance with national and international standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to sustainable and safe energy delivery.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Develop, implement, and maintain pipeline integrity management systems (PIMS) in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments, fitness-for-service evaluations, and remaining life assessments for pipeline assets.
- Oversee and manage internal and external inspection programs, including In-Line Inspection (ILI), direct assessment, and external corrosion direct assessment (ECDA).
- Analyze and interpret integrity assessment data, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies, repairs, and preventative measures.
- Ensure full compliance with local, national, and international pipeline safety regulations and company integrity policies.
- Support incident investigations and provide technical expertise for root cause analysis related to pipeline integrity failures.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including operations, maintenance, projects, and regulatory affairs.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation related to pipeline integrity activities and findings.
- Stay abreast of new technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes in pipeline integrity management.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pipeline integrity management within the oil & gas, energy, or chemical industries.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline integrity assessment methods, including NDT techniques, risk-based inspection, and fitness-for-service.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., API 1169, API 570, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, DNVGL-ST-F101).
- Proficiency in using integrity management software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication in an international team.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with specific pipeline integrity software suites (e.g., Synergi Pipeline, PIM software).
- Knowledge of German language is a plus.
- Project management experience, particularly in integrity assessment or remediation projects.
