Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Environmental Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for an aspiring environmental professional to gain hands-on experience in a leading global consultancy. As an intern, you will contribute to various environmental projects, focusing on research, data analysis, and report preparation. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to collaborate with experts from diverse locations while based in Mitte, Berlin. You will be instrumental in supporting our mission to create sustainable societies and drive positive change.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist project teams with data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to environmental impact assessments, site investigations, and sustainability studies.
• Conduct literature reviews and research on environmental regulations, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Prepare sections of technical reports, presentations, and other project deliverables under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support the development of environmental management plans and permit applications.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for assigned tasks.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 level or higher).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of environmental science principles and engineering concepts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Familiarity with environmental modeling software or GIS applications.
• Previous relevant internship or project experience in environmental consulting or research.
• Knowledge of German environmental regulations (advantageous, but not required).
• Demonstrated interest in sustainable development and climate change solutions.
