Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our passionate team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to life-saving humanitarian work from anywhere in Germany. As a Fundraising Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure vital resources for our global projects. You will be responsible for managing relationships with key donors, identifying new funding opportunities, and ensuring the sustained financial health of our operations. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep commitment to humanitarian principles.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and implement annual fundraising plans aligned with organizational goals and budget.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Identify and research new funding opportunities, including grants and philanthropic initiatives.
• Prepare compelling proposals, reports, and presentations for potential and existing donors.
• Oversee the donor journey, ensuring timely communication and appreciation.
• Collaborate with communications and program teams to create compelling fundraising materials.
• Analyze fundraising performance data and adjust strategies as needed.
• Stay informed about best practices in non-profit fundraising and humanitarian aid funding trends.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in fundraising or business development within the non-profit sector.
• Demonstrated success in securing significant grants or major gifts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to the humanitarian principles and mission of MSF.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-profit Management, or a related field.
• Experience with international fundraising or working for an international NGO.
• Proficiency in German is a plus.
• Knowledge of digital fundraising strategies and tools.
