Join our agricultural team as a Grape Tomato Harvesting Operative! We are looking for dedicated individuals to assist in the careful picking and sorting of grape tomatoes. This role is crucial to ensuring our high standards of quality and freshness are met. You will be working outdoors and in greenhouses, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. We welcome applicants who speak English, as clear communication is valued in our diverse workforce. This is an on-site position based in Neukölln, Berlin.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Carefully pick ripe grape tomatoes by hand, ensuring minimal damage to fruit and plants.
• Sort harvested tomatoes according to size, color, and quality standards.
• Pack tomatoes into designated containers for transport, adhering to packaging guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within the fields or greenhouse.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily harvesting targets.
• Report any issues with plant health or equipment to supervisors.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift up to 10 kg (22 lbs) regularly.
• Attention to detail to identify ripe and quality produce.
• Ability to work effectively in varying weather conditions (outdoors/greenhouse).
• Reliable and punctual.
• Basic communication skills; English speakers are welcome.
