We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hybrid ASIC Verification Engineer to join our Microelectronics team in Ratingen. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the functional correctness and quality of complex ASIC designs from conception through tape-out. You will contribute to the development of cutting-edge verification environments, apply advanced methodologies, and collaborate closely with design and architecture teams to deliver high-performance, reliable semiconductor solutions. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can apply your expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and digital verification to complex challenges in a hybrid work setting.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and implement comprehensive verification test plans based on design specifications.
• Design, build, and maintain advanced UVM-based verification environments for complex digital ASICs.
• Write, run, and debug SystemVerilog test cases to achieve specified functional and code coverage goals.
• Perform root-cause analysis of design bugs and work closely with design engineers to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, and software teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Develop and execute gate-level simulations and formal verification checks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of verification methodologies, flows, and tools.
• Generate detailed verification reports and documentation.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM methodology.
• Demonstrated experience in pre-silicon verification of complex digital ASICs.
• Solid understanding of digital design concepts and computer architecture.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl for verification automation.
• Expertise in debugging complex hardware and software interactions.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for simulation, debugging, and coverage analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with formal verification techniques (e.g., CDC, RDC, equivalence checking).
• Knowledge of industry standard protocols (e.g., PCIe, USB, Ethernet, DDR).
• Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
• Experience with mixed-signal verification.
• German language skills.
