We are seeking a talented and passionate Hybrid Natural Language Processing Engineer to join our cutting-edge AI Research team in Raunheim, Germany. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced NLP models and systems that power our next-generation automotive and industrial solutions. You will work on challenging problems, contributing to speech recognition, semantic understanding, sentiment analysis, and conversational AI within complex, real-world applications. This is a hybrid position, offering a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art NLP models and algorithms for various applications, including speech interfaces, predictive text, and knowledge extraction.
• Conduct research into new NLP techniques, deep learning architectures, and machine learning methodologies to solve complex problems in AI.
• Pre-process, annotate, and manage large datasets for training and evaluating NLP models, ensuring data quality and relevance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., software engineers, data scientists, product managers) to integrate NLP solutions into production systems.
• Evaluate and optimize NLP model performance, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in NLP, machine learning, and AI research.
• Document technical designs, research findings, and implementation details clearly and concisely.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in Python and relevant NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals, particularly in areas like neural networks, CNNs, RNNs, and attention mechanisms.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Demonstrated experience in building and deploying NLP models.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Linguistics, AI, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying AI/ML models.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for model lifecycle management.
• Experience in the automotive, industrial, or IoT domains.
• Knowledge of German language is a plus.
