We are seeking a highly motivated and English-proficient Journalism Intern to join our remote media team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced digital news environment, working with international content and contributing to our global English-language initiatives. This position is 100% remote, offering flexibility and the chance to collaborate with a diverse team from various locations.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist with research and fact-checking for articles, reports, and digital content.
• Draft and edit short-form news pieces, social media updates, and website copy in English.
• Support content creation for various platforms, including text, image, and video.
• Monitor current events and identify trending topics relevant to our English-speaking audience.
• Collaborate with editors and other team members on content strategy and execution.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and training sessions.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (native or near-native proficiency).
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with digital media platforms and content management systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Basic understanding of journalistic principles and ethics.
• Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office applications.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
• Previous experience with content creation or managing social media channels.
• Knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles.
