Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Lifeguards / Pool Attendants for a seasonal contract to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests at our state-of-the-art aquatic facilities in Rapperswil-Jona. This role is critical for maintaining a secure and friendly atmosphere, upholding facility standards, and providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventing accidents, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Monitor pool areas vigilantly to prevent accidents and ensure patron safety.
• Enforce all facility rules and regulations consistently and fairly.
• Respond immediately and effectively to emergencies, including water rescues and first aid incidents.
• Administer first aid and CPR/AED as required.
• Assist with routine pool maintenance tasks, including chemical checks, cleaning, and equipment setup/takedown.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering guest questions and assisting with facility needs.
• Complete incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Participate in regular in-service training and drills.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment around the pool deck and changing rooms.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Valid Lifeguard certification (e.g., SLRG Brevet Plus, Red Cross or equivalent)
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification
• Excellent swimming ability and physical fitness
• Strong observational and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
• Must be at least 18 years old

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a Lifeguard or Pool Attendant
• Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification
• Proficiency in German and/or other local languages
• Customer service experience in a recreational or hospitality setting
