Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Shift Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations during assigned shifts in our Graz facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient and safe execution of all inbound, outbound, and inventory management processes. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve targets for productivity, quality, and accuracy.
• Optimize workflow and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and consistent operational flow.
• Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and staff performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to their implementation.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in German and English.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean methodologies or Six Sigma principles.
• Forklift certification (e.g., reach truck, counterbalance).
• Knowledge of specific industry regulations relevant to the goods handled in the warehouse.
