We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Shipping Container Lumper to join our dynamic team in Donaustadt, Vienna. This essential role involves manually unloading and loading various types of cargo from shipping containers, ensuring efficient workflow and proper handling of goods. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, safety-conscious, and possess excellent English communication skills to collaborate effectively with supervisors and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. This is a hands-on position crucial to our logistics operations, requiring stamina and attention to detail.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Manually unload and load freight from shipping containers, ensuring efficient and safe material handling.
• Verify product quantities against manifests and report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
• Sort and organize merchandise according to established procedures, preparing items for storage or further distribution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety regulations and procedures.
• Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack) as required, after proper training.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding daily tasks, progress, and potential issues.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall operational goals.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) repeatedly.
• Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken) for effective communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
