We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to secure critical financial resources for our humanitarian projects worldwide. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of donors, cultivate new relationships, and ensure the effective communication of our mission and impact. This is a remote position, offering flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to our mission and team.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies and campaigns to meet financial targets.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Research and identify new funding opportunities and donor prospects.
• Prepare compelling grant proposals, reports, and fundraising appeals in English.
• Monitor fundraising performance against targets and report on progress regularly.
• Collaborate with communications and program teams to create engaging content that highlights MSF's work and impact.
• Ensure compliance with fundraising best practices, ethical guidelines, and data protection regulations.
• Represent MSF at relevant events and meetings to promote our mission and engage potential donors.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in fundraising, preferably within the non-profit or humanitarian sector.
• Proven track record of successfully securing significant funding from diverse sources (individual donors, foundations, corporations).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and proposals.
• Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and fundraising databases.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
• Experience with international fundraising or working for an international NGO.
• Knowledge of German fundraising landscape and regulations.
• Additional language skills (e.g., German, French, Spanish).
• Familiarity with digital fundraising tools and strategies.
