Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software QA Tester to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of SAP’s cutting-edge software solutions. You will work within an agile development environment, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other QA professionals to deliver robust and high-performing products to our global customer base. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within Germany, with a strong emphasis on English communication skills for international team collaboration.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing software features.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify, reproduce, and report defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure testability.
• Document and track defects using appropriate bug tracking systems, monitoring their resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews within an agile framework.
• Ensure high quality standards are met for all software releases.
• Provide clear, concise, and timely feedback on product quality to the project team.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a similar role.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English for effective international communication.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with agile development practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• Experience testing enterprise-level applications or cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with performance or security testing concepts.
