Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a motivated Werkstudent (working student) to join our Logistics IT team in Hamburg. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a global leader, working on real-world projects that optimize our logistics operations. No prior German language skills are required, making this an ideal entry point for international students or those focusing on their technical skills. You will support our IT specialists in various tasks, from data analysis and system support to contributing to new software implementations, enhancing the efficiency and innovation of our supply chain solutions.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Support the IT team in maintaining and optimizing logistics software systems.
• Assist in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the testing, deployment, and documentation of new IT solutions and features.
• Provide first-level support for internal users regarding logistics IT applications.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their IT needs and propose solutions.
• Participate in IT projects related to automation, digitalization, and process improvement within the logistics domain.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Enrolled student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#) or scripting.
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and eager to learn about logistics processes and IT applications.
