Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. This role is crucial for optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing current workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity and reduce waste. You will work within a multicultural environment, collaborating with various departments across our organization. Proficiency in German is NOT required for this position.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure quality.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Design and optimize factory layouts and workstation designs for maximum productivity and ergonomics.
• Conduct time studies, methods analysis, and capacity planning to establish and maintain manufacturing standards.
• Identify and eliminate waste in all forms across the production value chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, R&D) to implement process improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project status, findings, and recommendations.
• Utilize simulation software and data analysis tools to model and predict process performance.
• Support the introduction of new products and processes from an industrial engineering perspective.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in process analysis, time studies, and workflow optimization techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a diverse team.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; German proficiency is not required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience with robotics and automation systems.
• Familiarity with CAD software for layout design.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Experience in a multinational corporate environment.
