We are seeking an experienced and visionary Engineering Manager to lead a talented team of engineers in Salzburg. As an Engineering Manager – Tech Leadership, you will be responsible for guiding technical direction, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software and hardware solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for developing people and products that make a real impact. You will collaborate closely with product management, other engineering teams, and stakeholders to define strategy, roadmaps, and execution plans.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions in collaboration with architects and principal engineers.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, scalable, and robust solutions.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career growth for team members.
- Collaborate with product management to define requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure successful product launches.
- Promote best practices in software development, including testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the stability and security of our systems.
- Contribute to the overall engineering vision and strategy, helping to shape the future of our technology stack.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role within a technology company.
- Strong technical background in software engineering, with expertise in relevant programming languages and platforms (e.g., C++, Java, Python, cloud technologies).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and project management principles.
- Experience in architectural design and system integration.
- Proficiency in English.

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with industrial automation, IoT, or digital twin technologies.
