Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Alumni Relations Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive programs and initiatives to engage our diverse alumni community worldwide. This role involves fostering strong relationships, organizing events, managing communications, and supporting fundraising efforts to advance the mission and goals of Johannes Kepler University Linz.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and execute a strategic plan for alumni engagement, communications, and events.
• Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with alumni through regular outreach and personalized interactions.
• Plan, organize, and manage alumni events, both in-person and virtual, including reunions, networking events, and professional development workshops.
• Manage and enhance alumni communication channels, including newsletters, social media, and dedicated alumni platforms.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including admissions, career services, and fundraising, to support university initiatives.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date alumni database.
• Recruit, train, and manage alumni volunteers for various university programs.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of alumni relations programs.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in alumni relations, fundraising, event management, or community engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1/C2 level).
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with CRM software and alumni management systems.
• Experience in planning and executing successful events.

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Additional language proficiency (e.g., German).
