We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented English Speaking Cryptoeconomics Modeler to join our innovative team in Vienna. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in designing, simulating, and analyzing the economic models underpinning our various blockchain-based products and protocols. You will work closely with product, engineering, and research teams to ensure the stability, security, and long-term viability of our cryptoeconomic systems. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge financial technology in a fast-paced environment.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design and develop robust cryptoeconomic models for new and existing blockchain protocols and products.
• Utilize simulation tools and data analysis to evaluate model performance, identify potential vulnerabilities, and optimize parameters.
• Conduct research into various cryptoeconomic primitives, incentive mechanisms, and game theory applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate economic designs into technical specifications.
• Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and presentations on model assumptions, methodologies, and findings.
• Monitor the live performance of cryptoeconomic systems and propose adjustments as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and cryptoeconomics research.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience in quantitative modeling, economic analysis, or similar analytical roles.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized finance (DeFi) principles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Julia for data analysis and simulation.
• Experience with economic modeling, game theory, or mechanism design.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical and economic concepts clearly and concisely in English.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline.
• Prior experience working on cryptoeconomic models for live blockchain projects.
• Familiarity with agent-based modeling or other simulation frameworks.
