Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hybrid Autonomous Driving Engineer to join our cutting-edge team in Salzburg. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development and integration of advanced software components for autonomous driving systems, with a specific focus on hybrid architectures that combine on-premise and cloud-based processing. You will work on critical aspects from perception and sensor fusion to decision-making and control, contributing to the next generation of intelligent vehicles. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Design, develop, and implement software modules for various autonomous driving functionalities (e.g., perception, localization, planning, control).
- Integrate and test ADAS/AD components within a hybrid architecture, ensuring seamless operation between edge and cloud computing platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, systems architects, and testing teams, to define system requirements and interfaces.
- Perform rigorous testing, debugging, and validation of AD software both in simulation and on test vehicles.
- Contribute to system architecture discussions and design decisions for robust and scalable autonomous driving solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in autonomous driving technology and research.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
- Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with autonomous driving stacks (e.g., ROS, Apollo, Autoware).
- Knowledge of sensor fusion, computer vision, machine learning, and control algorithms for AD applications.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for automotive data processing or remote inference.
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., CARLA, IPG CarMaker, Vires VTD).
- Proficiency in German is a plus.
