Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Research Intern to join our dynamic English-speaking research institute at the University of Graz. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in an academic research setting, contributing to ongoing projects. The successful candidate will assist researchers with various tasks, from data collection and analysis to literature reviews and report preparation. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates eager to develop their research skills in an international and supportive environment. Fluency in English is essential, as all communication and research materials will be in English.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings relevant to ongoing research projects.
• Assist with data collection, entry, and management using various software tools.
• Support data analysis activities under the guidance of senior researchers.
• Contribute to the preparation of research reports, presentations, and publications.
• Organize and maintain research databases and documentation.
• Participate in team meetings, workshops, and seminars.
• Provide administrative support to the research team as needed.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Humanities, Natural Sciences, Data Science).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with qualitative or quantitative research methodologies.
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) or qualitative analysis software (e.g., NVivo).
• Basic knowledge of academic citation styles (e.g., APA, MLA).

• An interest in interdisciplinary research and international collaboration.
