Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as an Apple Orchard Worker for picking and sorting. This hands-on role is crucial for ensuring the quality and timely harvest of our apple crops. You will be responsible for carefully picking apples, sorting them according to quality standards, and assisting with various orchard maintenance tasks. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to working outdoors in various weather conditions. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Carefully pick apples from trees, ensuring minimal damage to fruit and trees.
• Sort apples by size, color, and quality, removing any bruised or damaged fruit.
• Pack sorted apples into crates or bins for transport, adhering to packing guidelines.
• Operate and maintain orchard equipment as needed (e.g., ladders, picking platforms).
• Assist with general orchard maintenance tasks, such as pruning, thinning, or irrigation setup, as instructed.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with the orchard team to meet daily harvest targets.

• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor outdoors for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry moderate weights (up to 20kg).
• Attention to detail for quality picking and sorting.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in agricultural work or fruit picking is a plus but not required.
• Basic understanding of German language.
• Valid driver's license and own transportation.
