We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Avionics Technician – Aerospace Engineering to join our dynamic team in Frankfurt am Main. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex avionics systems on a wide range of aircraft. This position requires a strong understanding of aerospace electronics, diagnostic tools, and adherence to stringent aviation safety regulations. You will contribute to ensuring the airworthiness and operational readiness of our fleet, playing a critical role in global aviation safety and efficiency.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of aircraft avionics systems and components.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose and rectify faults.
• Execute modifications and upgrades to avionics systems in accordance with engineering orders and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct functional tests and operational checks of avionics systems post-maintenance.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and completely in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve maintenance procedures.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
• Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay current with new technologies and regulations.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as an Avionics Technician or similar role in the aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex avionics systems, including communication, navigation, and flight control systems.
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA Part-66, FAA A&P with avionics endorsement).
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• EASA Part-66 B2 license or equivalent.
• Experience with specific aircraft types (e.g., Airbus A320/A330/A350, Boeing 737/747/777/787).
• Knowledge of digital data bus systems (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553).
• Proficiency with specialized avionics test equipment.
• Fluency in German is a plus.
