We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our specialty coffee shop in Groß-Enzersdorf. If you have a love for coffee, a commitment to excellent customer service, and are fluent in English, we want to hear from you! As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and service.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc.) to the highest Julius Meinl standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately and making recommendations.
• Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas.
• Monitor coffee bean and milk inventory, and report shortages.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Proven experience as a Barista, preferably in a specialty coffee setting (at least 6 months).
• Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and latte art.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for coffee and customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Prior experience with Julius Meinl products or similar premium coffee brands.
• Knowledge of German is a plus, but not required.
• Food hygiene certificate (Hygienepass).
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
