We are seeking an experienced and dynamic English Speaking Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join our team in a hybrid work model. As an RTE at Zalando, you will play a crucial role in leading and facilitating the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure the smooth delivery of value. You will be instrumental in guiding large-scale agile development, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of collaboration and transparency. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Facilitate ART events and processes, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.
• Help manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART using various tools and techniques.
• Foster a high-performing environment, address impediments, manage risks, and drive relentless improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication.
• Support the teams in delivering features and capabilities, ensuring adherence to quality and architectural guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement by assessing the current state of the ART and implementing targeted actions.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer or in a similar scaled agile leadership role.
• SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certification (e.g., SAFe RTE, SAFe Agilist).
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong servant leadership and coaching skills with a collaborative approach.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate large groups and drive consensus.
• Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and impediments effectively.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Additional SAFe certifications (e.g., SAFe SPC, LPM).
• Experience working in large-scale e-commerce or retail environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
