We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Greenhouse Worker to join our indoor farming facility in Leer (Ostfriesland). This entry-level position is perfect for individuals passionate about agriculture, sustainability, and hands-on work in a controlled environment. You will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our vertical farm, ensuring the health and productivity of our plants from seed to harvest. No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Perform daily tasks related to plant cultivation, including seeding, transplanting, pruning, and harvesting.
• Monitor plant health, identifying and reporting any signs of disease, pests, or nutrient deficiencies.
• Operate and maintain specialized indoor farming equipment, including irrigation systems and LED lighting.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the greenhouse environment, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
• Accurately record data related to plant growth, yields, and environmental conditions.
• Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with packing and preparation of harvested produce for distribution.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 kg, standing, and bending for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic communication skills in German or English.
