Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hybrid ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Engineer to join our innovative team in Oerlikon, Zurich. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development, testing, and integration of cutting-edge ADAS features for future vehicle platforms. You will work on a hybrid model, balancing on-site collaboration with the flexibility of remote work, focusing on sensor fusion, perception algorithms, and system validation. This position requires a strong background in automotive software development, a deep understanding of ADAS architectures, and a passion for creating safe and intelligent driving experiences.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and implement ADAS functionalities, including sensor fusion, object detection, and path planning.
• Perform extensive testing and validation of ADAS features in simulation environments, test benches, and prototype vehicles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, validation, and project management) to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Analyze and debug complex system issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of ADAS development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in the ADAS domain.
• Document technical specifications, design documents, and test reports.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Experience with ADAS sensor technologies (radar, lidar, camera, ultrasonic).
• Solid understanding of sensor fusion algorithms and techniques.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, LIN).
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software development.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
• Experience with functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink for model-based design.
• Experience with machine learning techniques for perception tasks.
• Knowledge of automotive architectures (AUTOSAR).
• Prior experience working on series production ADAS projects.
