Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking an innovative and passionate Hybrid Brain-Computer Interface Researcher to join our dynamic Neurotech team in Vienna. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research and development in the field of BCI, focusing on integrating various neural signal modalities with advanced algorithms to create intuitive and robust interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuroscience, signal processing, machine learning, and experience with both invasive and non-invasive BCI systems. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and validating novel BCI paradigms, contributing directly to products that enhance quality of life for patients globally.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

  • Design and conduct experiments to develop and validate novel hybrid BCI paradigms.
  • Process and analyze diverse neurophysiological data (e.g., EEG, ECoG, fMRI) using advanced signal processing techniques.
  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for real-time decoding of brain signals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including neuroscientists, engineers, and clinicians.
  • Contribute to the scientific community through publications, presentations, and patent applications.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation of research methods, results, and experimental protocols.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in brain-computer interfaces and neurotechnology.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

  • Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for data analysis and algorithm development.
  • Strong background in signal processing, particularly for neurophysiological data.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques for classification and regression.
  • Familiarity with various BCI hardware and software platforms.
  • Proven ability to conduct independent research and problem-solve complex technical challenges.
