Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Hybrid Fuel Cell Systems Engineer to join our innovative Clean Energy division in St. Pölten. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and integration of next-generation hybrid fuel cell systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy solutions, working on projects that will shape the future of energy production and consumption. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, leveraging your expertise in fuel cell technology, power electronics, and system integration to bring novel solutions from concept to commercialization.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Lead the design, modeling, simulation, and optimization of hybrid fuel cell systems.
- Develop system architectures and specifications for various applications, including stationary power and heavy-duty transport.
- Integrate fuel cell stacks with balance-of-plant components, power electronics, and energy storage systems (e.g., batteries).
- Conduct performance analysis, efficiency studies, and reliability assessments of hybrid systems.
- Contribute to control strategy development and implementation for system operation and optimization.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and testing teams to ensure seamless product development.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in fuel cell technology, hydrogen production, and energy storage.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in fuel cell systems, hybrid powertrains, or renewable energy integration.
- Strong understanding of various fuel cell technologies (PEMFC, SOFC) and their operational characteristics.
- Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Aspen HYSYS, GT-SUITE).
- Experience with power electronics, DC-DC converters, and energy management strategies.
- Familiarity with hydrogen infrastructure and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international environment.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and validation.
- Knowledge of control systems design and implementation for complex energy systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for fuel cell applications.
- Proficiency in German language is a plus.
