We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Hybrid Haptics Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic Tech Hardware team in Bregenz. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge haptic feedback systems into our next-generation consumer and industrial hardware products. This position requires a deep understanding of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and material science, with a focus on creating immersive and intuitive user experiences through advanced haptic technology. You will work within a cross-functional team, contributing to the full product lifecycle from concept to mass production, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in human-machine interaction.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead the research, design, and development of novel haptic actuators and feedback mechanisms for various hardware platforms.
• Integrate haptic modules into product designs, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Perform detailed mechanical and electrical simulations (FEA, CFD, SPICE) to optimize haptic system performance.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for haptic systems, including subjective and objective evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with industrial design, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product integration.
• Contribute to patent applications and technical publications related to haptics innovation.
• Stay abreast of emerging haptic technologies, materials, and industry trends to inform future product roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues related to haptic system performance and reliability.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in haptics engineering or related hardware development.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Catia, Fusion 360) for mechanical design.
• Experience with various haptic actuator technologies (e.g., LRA, ERM, piezoelectric, electro-tactile).
• Solid understanding of material science, vibration analysis, and acoustics.
• Proficiency in embedded systems development and programming (e.g., C/C++ for microcontrollers).
• Familiarity with sensor integration and data acquisition for feedback control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
