We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Hybrid Quantum Computing Researcher to join our cutting-edge Innovation Lab in Versoix. This role involves pioneering research at the intersection of classical and quantum computing, developing novel algorithms, and exploring practical applications of hybrid quantum systems. You will be instrumental in advancing our understanding and capabilities in this rapidly evolving field, contributing to both theoretical foundations and experimental implementations.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Conduct original research in hybrid quantum algorithms and applications.
• Design, implement, and test quantum and classical components for hybrid systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and solve complex problems using quantum computing.
• Publish research findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of quantum computing research within the lab.
• Mentor junior researchers and interns, fostering a collaborative research environment.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Quantum Information, or a related field.
• Strong background in quantum mechanics and quantum computing principles.
• Proficiency in at least one quantum programming framework (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq).
• Experience with classical computing and algorithm development.
• Demonstrated research track record with publications in relevant areas.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Post-doctoral experience in quantum computing or a related field.
• Experience with hybrid quantum-classical algorithms (e.g., VQE, QAOA).
• Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
