Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to kickstart your career in a dynamic environment? Swisscom offers an exciting Internship opportunity for aspiring Cyber Security professionals. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience in various facets of cybersecurity, working alongside seasoned experts. You will gain invaluable insights into threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security operations within a large-scale enterprise. We welcome international talent, and while Swiss German is widely spoken, proficiency in German is NOT a requirement for this role. We operate in an international context, with English being a primary language for technical communication. This is an On-site position in our Olten office, offering direct access to our teams and infrastructure.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in monitoring security systems and analyzing security alerts.
• Support the incident response team in investigating and resolving security incidents.
• Contribute to vulnerability assessments and penetration testing efforts.
• Participate in security awareness initiatives and training programs.
• Help maintain and update security documentation and procedures.
• Research emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
• Collaborate with various IT teams to implement security best practices.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts.
• Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated passion for cybersecurity and a willingness to learn.
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of common security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls).
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Any relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH).
• Previous experience with personal cybersecurity projects or CTFs.
