Are you passionate about events and eager to gain practical, hands-on experience in event production? Messe Frankfurt GmbH is offering an exciting internship opportunity for individuals looking to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of large-scale exhibitions, conferences, and consumer shows. This role is perfect for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who wants to learn the ropes of event planning, logistics, and execution from the ground up. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to real projects and seeing the direct impact of your efforts.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of various event components, including venue setup, technical requirements, and supplier management.
  • Support the production team during event execution, including on-site setup, registration, and breakdown.
  • Help manage event logistics, such as material ordering, inventory tracking, and transportation arrangements.
  • Contribute to administrative tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and preparing event documentation.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of services.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new event concepts and improvements.
  • Provide general operational support to the event production team as needed.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of event industry terminology and practices.
  • Prior volunteer or work experience in event support or coordination roles.
  • Proficiency in German (written and spoken) is a plus.
