We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our dynamic Research & Development (R&D) Department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge automotive and powertrain technology. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems for powertrain applications.
• Conduct simulations and analyses to optimize component performance and reliability.
• Participate in laboratory testing, data collection, and analysis.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various R&D projects.
• Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and materials relevant to mechanical engineering.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles (mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics).
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
• Basic understanding of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., MATLAB, Python).
• Familiarity with automotive or powertrain systems.
• Previous internship or project experience in an R&D setting.
• Proficiency in German is a plus.
