Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to join our corporate IT team in Magdeburg, Germany. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing and managing complex IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As an English-speaking corporate role, excellent communication skills in English are paramount for liaising with diverse international stakeholders and teams. You will be instrumental in driving the successful implementation of our digital strategy, working on projects that span across various business functions and technologies.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, managing resource allocation and tracking progress.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing contingency plans as needed.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Ensure projects adhere to organizational standards, methodologies, and quality requirements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project status updates and reports.
• Oversee the procurement and management of external vendors and consultants when required.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
• Champion best practices in IT project management and contribute to the evolution of our PMO processes.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in a corporate environment (minimum 5 years).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for a global corporate setting.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana).
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications.
• Experience with SAP implementations or other large-scale ERP systems.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), or cybersecurity projects.
• Proficiency in German language is a plus, but not mandatory.
