Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Amstetten. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing long-term, strategic relationships with our most valuable global clients. You will act as the primary point of contact, understanding their business needs, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of Siemens‘ innovative solutions. This position demands a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of driving revenue growth and fostering enduring partnerships across diverse industries and cultures. As this role involves managing global accounts, fluency in English is paramount.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand our presence within assigned global accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at all levels within client organizations.
  • Identify new business opportunities, cross-selling potential, and innovative solutions to address client challenges and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for Siemens while meeting client expectations.
  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, technical support, marketing, and legal, to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on account status, market trends, and competitive activities.
  • Act as a client advocate, ensuring their needs are met and Siemens maintains its position as a trusted partner.
  • Represent Siemens at industry events, conferences, and client meetings globally, requiring international travel.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in key account management, strategic sales, or business development, preferably within a global context.
  • Exceptional command of English, both written and verbal, for international client communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful account strategies.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Profound understanding of complex sales cycles and value-based selling methodologies.
  • Excellent business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Additional proficiency in another major global language (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Mandarin).
  • Experience in the industrial automation, energy, smart infrastructure, or similar technology-driven sectors.
  • Master's degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
