Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant English-speaking Lifeguard to join our team at the Hilton Munich Park. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests using our international indoor pool facilities. This role involves proactive supervision, emergency response, and maintaining a clean and safe aquatic environment. You will be a crucial part of our guest experience, providing peace of mind and upholding the highest standards of safety and service.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Monitor the pool area diligently to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety.
• Respond immediately and effectively to emergencies, including water rescues and first aid administration.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations consistently and courteously.
• Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, equipment, and water quality, reporting any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool deck, changing rooms, and surrounding facilities.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests with inquiries and needs.
• Attend and participate in all required training sessions and team meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance checks.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for the pool area.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Valid Lifeguard certification (e.g., DLRG Silber, RLSS, Red Cross, or equivalent international certification).
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential for international guest communication.
• Strong swimming abilities and physical fitness.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a Lifeguard in a hotel or similar hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of an additional language (e.g., German, French, Spanish).
• Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification.
• Experience with pool maintenance and water chemistry.
