We are seeking an experienced Logistics Planner to join our dynamic distribution center team in Hilden. This role is crucial for optimizing the flow of goods, managing inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries to meet customer demands. The successful candidate will play a key part in planning and coordinating all logistics activities within the distribution center, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence. You will work with a diverse team, utilizing advanced planning tools and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and implement robust logistics plans for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and collaborate with procurement and sales teams to prevent stock-outs or overstock situations.
• Optimize transportation routes and schedules to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations for efficient goods handling, storage, and dispatch.
• Analyze logistics data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.
• Manage relationships with carriers and suppliers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant logistics regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, including KPIs, service levels, and cost analysis.
• Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall supply chain performance.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as a Logistics Planner or similar role, preferably in a distribution center environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and transportation logistics.
• Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certifications in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM).
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
