Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical M&A Analyst to join our dynamic Investment Boutique team in Geneva. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of M&A transactions, including market research, financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate finance principles and a keen interest in the financial services industry, particularly within wealth and asset management.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Conduct comprehensive industry and market research to identify potential M&A targets and strategic opportunities.
• Develop detailed financial models, including valuation analyses (DCF, trading multiples, transaction multiples) and synergy models.
• Prepare high-quality presentations, pitch books, and other client materials for M&A advisory mandates.
• Assist in the due diligence process, coordinating with internal and external advisors.
• Support senior team members in all phases of transaction execution, from origination to closing.
• Perform financial statement analysis and create bespoke financial reports.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape within the M&A sector.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, or a related analytical role.
• Proven proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment and manage multiple priorities.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or CFA designation (or progress towards).
• Fluency in French or German.
• Experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon, or other financial data terminals.
• Prior experience in the financial services or wealth management sector.
