We are seeking a diligent and motivated Mushroom Harvesting Operative to join our dedicated team in Freienbach, Schwyz. In this role, you will be responsible for the careful and efficient harvesting of various mushroom varieties within a controlled indoor environment. Your work will be crucial in ensuring the consistent supply of high-quality produce to our customers. This position is suitable for individuals who are reliable, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy physical work. No prior German language skills are required.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Carefully select and harvest mushrooms by hand according to specific picking instructions and quality standards.
• Inspect mushrooms for quality, size, and damage, discarding any unsuitable produce.
• Place harvested mushrooms into designated containers with precision to prevent bruising and maintain quality.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work area within the mushroom growing facility.
• Adhere strictly to all company hygiene, food safety, and operational protocols.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and schedules.
• Report any issues concerning crop health, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Physical fitness and stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift light to moderate weights (up to 15kg) for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per seasonal demand.
• No German language skills required; basic English communication skills or willingness to learn basic work instructions is beneficial.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, food production, or a similar physically demanding role is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.
• Valid Swiss work permit or eligibility to work in Switzerland.
