Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Public Health Intern to join our remote team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of global public health, contributing to impactful projects and initiatives. The intern will support our programs focusing on health data analysis, research, policy development, and communication, all while working collaboratively with international experts. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates passionate about making a difference in global health.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in data collection, analysis, and interpretation for public health projects.
• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize information on specific health topics.
• Support the development of public health reports, presentations, and policy briefs.
• Contribute to the drafting of communication materials and educational resources.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new initiatives.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for virtual workshops and events.
• Collaborate with team members on various tasks to achieve project objectives.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Public Health, Epidemiology, Global Health, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in global health issues.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, Stata).
• Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
• Prior experience in an international or public health-related setting (academic project, volunteer work, or previous internship).
• Knowledge of additional UN official languages.
